So a few of you know my mom is doign a course on illustrations in childrens books and the such through Rutgers online. Well part of the class is doing collages, watercolors, acrylics, markers, crayons and colored pencil drawings and works. the point is so that you are able to recognize the diffrent mediums when you see them in a book.

So my mom has had no art training at all, lucky for her my brothers and I have all taken art classes all through school. One of the few good things at my school is a strong art program (who knows how much longer that will last though). So anyway. Today I was playing with some water colors so that I would be able to show her later, and I actually got a compliment from my dad on the bunny I had just spent the last hour drawing. I was so happy!

I just thought I would share that with yall.

Your dad seems like a nice guy...! I'm glad your dad gave you a compliment, that rocks!

Here's two somethings that maybe will make you guys smile, though they might not be for everyone.

An "interesting" Super Nintendo game review here:

Foul-mouthed school kid's lawyer explains origin of f-word in his motion to dismiss disorderly conduct case:

Can a schoolboy be charged with the crime of saying "fuck" and then have an attorney prepare an argument based on the etiology and common usage of the word.

Think good thoughts,

That is so wonderful......  [message #12997 is a reply to message #12981] Thu, 31 July 2003 22:40 Go to previous message

I would have given my right eye to have my dad say something like that to me when I was your age.

...........

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...
