Tonight I got to go on my first fire run with Brian...IT was SOOO COOL!!! I felt all important flying down the road with the lights and sirens running and everyone pulling over...I'm glad I put my seatbelt on though, we were flying!
No fire is a good fire really, but this one wasn't too bad cause it was a building that had already been burnt once and was/is in the process of being torn down. It was awesome to get to see the CUTE (sweaty) guys in uniform!!!! It was also really cool to watch the water gush out of the tankers and I learned a lot about how different things work. WOW! Fun but scary at the same time!
Just wanted to share my excitement! Thanks for letting me ride along Brian!

Thats so cool Danielle. Why didn't you take me with you!!! Actually According to rule in NJ I wouldn't even be allowed on the truck and if for some reason I was on the truck I couldn't get off of it when they arrived at all. I don't think it would ahve been quite so much fun for us. I have a friend who works for the fire department hes pretty cool. He always tells us stories and stuff about ti. Like how on monday nights when they are supposed to be training and stuff they actually go outside and play 'ride the hose' they do that all night lol. He said someday hed show me pictures of it

I didn't actually get to ride in a fire truck that is against the rules here too. Brian's personal vehicle has lights and sirens. As far as getting out of the truck I didn't exactly have permission but I made sure I stayed out of the way. HUMMM...maybe I shouldn't have...getting trampled by a cute fire fighter might not be a bad thing...hehehe! Then again what if the guy wasn't cute, then it wouldn't be so much fun! Maybe I better just stick to staying out of the way!
