1) I am an excellent storyteller, whether it be a novel, a short story, role playing games, or just telling a joke.
2) Driving. I've never been in an accident where I was driving. BTW, I drive like a yankee, fast, kinda on the aggressive side.
3) I swim really well.
4) I tend to be a good ear and a good place for people to bounce their ideas, problems and thoughts off of. I guess that ties in with being a storyteller and being able to see all sides. Means I tend to be THE choice when my pals need advice or a second opinion on something.
5) I guess the other things I'm good at all kinda form into one thing really. Arts. I mean, I can act when necessary, draw passably, play my guitar of keyboard without it sounding like a bag of drowning cats (unless that's what I'm going for, heheh!), and of course, fencing, which I sorta teach, only the more theatrical version these days.
Okay the things people don't know..., wow, that's a toughy.
1) I can be a moody cuss at times. Comes with the territory, occassionally you gotta have rain despite the sunshine.
2) Despite being a city kid my whole life, I do like going out into the woods a while and just being, yaknowhutimean?
3) I tend to be a slob. It's embarrassing, but true. even now the bedroom is a mess, and you don't even want to know about my car right this second.
4) There are times when I can sort of tune into people. Read their emotions, moods, thoughts, expressions and frustrations so well that I can almost complete their sentances. I was told at an early age that I was psychic, and so far, I guess it's true. I'm not an expert though, and I'm not gonna be doing any "readings" like John Edwards anytime soon.
5) That there was a dark, nasty and somewhat illegal side to me, but that's all in the past now. I shouldn't go into any details, but let's just say that I got roped into doing some very wrong things for some very bad people with, uhm, family connections. 'Nuff Said.
okay, ummm, TAG, You're IT!

1) I have a great memory. It isn't photographic, but when it comes to information and sometimes details when it goes in, it stays in. When my school did a production of Chicago I had the whole script (including all the songs) memorised and if given the chance to read through the script once I'd probably be able to recite all the lines for any part, if you gave me the cues.
2) I'm easy-going. I don't care at all what other people do, even if something is directed towards me negatively (like an insult) I don't take offense and I don't hold a grudge. It takes a lot for anything to really get me stressed or offended.
3) I'm a good programmer, I guess it is an outlet for my creativity, I like to solve problems and while it can be frustrating at times it is also very rewarding.
4) I care about people, I actually want to hear their problems if they think it will help. I like to offer advice and if even my advise has no value I think that by just having people explain the situation to me they are helped.
5) I'm quite happy to be myself. I act like an absolute dork in public and I often embarass my friends, but I always be myself. I'm honest with others about who I am, if they ask me about my family situation, sexuality or anything else, I'll tell them
As for habits that you all probably don't know about
1) I crack my fingers regularly, my neck too, it really weirds some people out
2) Whenever I go shopping I take my own bag to try to cut down on the amount of non-recyclable plastic bags used. This is especially important in Japan where they over-package everything (even cookies come in seperately wrapped packs).
3) When I works Saturdays without fail I go to the convenience store, buy an Obento and a Peach tea. Peach tea is my favourite, probably because it is sweet.
4) I co-run a Harry Potter based roleplaying game where you choose a character to play and you co-write a story with a number of other players. I check it everyday without fail to see the progress of my two characters. One is a friendly but nonetheless ambitious Slytherin, he's in 3rd year and just starting to work out he is gay. The other is the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, he's a 22 year old metamorphmagus and having a relationship with a student (and a female one at that).
5) Umm.. can't think of anything else, but when I was aged from 14-17 I was enrolled in a church seminary program where we studied the various scriptures. I probably only went 50% of the time, but each school day for an hour the class would be held from 6:15-7:15 am, so I'd need to get up at 5:30 every morning to go to it.

- Listening
- Telling stories
- Showing people alternative paths forward
- Being a dad
- Cooking
The next bit is harder. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve, so most of you know most everything about me- I recycle cans, plastic and papers
- I give to charities, but ones I select carefully, not just any charity
- I get into trouble a lot because I let my mouth run away with me
- I do thinsg for other people before I do things for myself.
- I keep fit, and am losing weight

What I'm good at:
1. I'm good with computers.
2. I'm good at school.
3. I read a lot.
4. I try to be openminded and accepting.
5. I'm not picky about my food.
Things I do all the time:
1. I worry. Did I lock the door? Did I leave the stove on?
2. I hoard stuff. I have notebooks and tests saved from gade 1, which was in 1989.
3. I always wear a seatbelt in a car. I'm not sure this really counts, since like 95% of Finns do it, but I'm under the impression that it's far less popular outside Scandinavia. Correct me if I'm wrong.
4. I wear jeans pretty much all the time and everywhere, except when indoors at home.
5. I don't eat and use the computer at the same time. Or eat anywhere near the computer.

It's been the law in California for about ten or so years, but recently the Federal Government made it the law across the whole US.
Think good thoughts,
