Was an article in the paper over here today about a fifteen-year-old Italian boy from Milano who hitch-hiked all the way to Sweden to go see the girl he fell in love with after they met in the states previously. She's a couple years older than him, and he made it almost the whole way when police came to pick him up after people had called about a boy walking along a highway in poor clothes.
He was given a ride to the home of his love, where the father voulenteered to act as substitute parent for the time being, that way social services didn't have to get involved.
Isn't that nice?
No, his name wasn't Romeo, but it might just as well be. No, the story didn't say if the love was two-sided, but I just wanted to mention it because it was a cool tale...
