I have a hard time adjusting to new stuff when it's an old habit. What's that a sign of??
I knew one day my missing red R would come back to haunt me. I've only made 1 post on timmy's MB :-/

For some reason this board is slower for me than the old one too, like to thirdfencepost. Not by much, and it doesn't happen all the time, but overall feeling is of it being slower. Still getting used to how everything is/works, but other than the speed and the new post window being smaller than the contents, all else seems to be great.

ranting is so easy, isn't it?! instead say WHAT sort of "slight mistake" you think lets people lose a post. the intention of this thread is to find flaws and then improve the software. so give constructive(!) criticism.

Just put <i> in front of the word you want in italics and </i> afterwards. So <i>hello</i> will be displayed as hello.
Important: Before posting, remember to check the box that reads "HTML in your post? Tick here to make it work". Otherwise your post will be full of <i>'s and </i>'s!

was not ranting at all...just a small observation to my first use of this new board.I suppose practice will make things easier...Please remember MEGAMAN that I am disabled and sometimes things can get tense..BTW not every observation or comment is a criticsm of your great efforts...There is a very sage tale about the war of the body parts--They all wanted to be BOSS To make a long story short.the bottom won out as it could stop up the works,so in American jargon we all know who ended up BOSS.....rob

You know, with the previous board, if something went wrong duringthe "post message" phase, your post vanished as well. That is not a "board issue" so much as a browser issue, and is common to all messageboards.
Now, tell me what the complexities are.
If it;s too complex, then removing complexity is an obvious solution.
Do not include in your list any of the issues about migrating from one board to another. Those are history. Instead look at areas where an improvement can be made.
When people who work for me come to me with a problem I ask them to tell me "what do you want to do to solve that?" usually they have a very good answer. It may not always be the one I adopt, but it may aso be perfect
