Ok i think things are getting out of hand here. People here are not taking the time to read the post deeply. Please don't jump on me because i say this, let me explain.
First of all we need to understand this is the internet which means we are probably never going to see each other faces ( some of you have ) and see your facial expressions when saying something. We can't hear each others tone of voice so we would never know in what mood the person is. This one of the down sides of the internet because things can be misread very easily.
What do we need to do? We need to read the post at a different level, don't take things very personal. I can insult you and say bad things about you but here at home i'm laughing just making a post hoping you guys would not take it seriously. See how difficult it is. I have learn not to take things seriously or personal because of this.
Second i like what Timmy says on top of the messageboard " Any advice should come from the perspective of the person asking , not the person giving" If we try this we might save ourselves a lot of trouble. If we do direct a post to someone else, we need to think about how the other person is going to take it because we are never going see his face and know how he thinks. If you decide to disagree with someone else, don't tell them in what they are wrong ( in world they are right and we need to accept it ) withougt explaining why you thing that way , instead type an answer explaining exactly what you believe. Imagin you are not answering to him , you are just typing a post for someone else to read. Trust me , that way you are going to make your point without hurting the other person. It is alright to disagree, in fact this is what makes us special.
Third this is why i don't participate with the heavy topics. I'm a kid, i'm starting to live my life and i don't have that much expirience. But when i make a reply is not to offend anybody ( i think nobody wants to offend anybody, right? ) i just try to explain how i would solve the situation or what are my beliefs. I respect what you believe hoping you will repect what i believe.
So in conclusion, read the post throughly and when responding to the post don't answer by attacking his believes but instead explaining yours.
I have no idea if all of this made sense. Please when i wrote this i was trying to explain what i see wrong here and maybe give solutions in what to do. I was not trying to direct it to anybody, this is general ( sorry if i gave to the inpression of directhing this to you, i wasn't ). See how many things i need to explain just so averybody doesn't get offended.
Hoping people will understand what i said
M.

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Far too few of us stand inte shoes of the perosn who is seeking the advice, help, answers. Even when we try to we do not always succeed.
This place should be aural, not oral, in the ratio of ears to mouths. 2 ears, one mouth. Listen twice, post wonce.

Just a lil ol note, this post bring up memories of my boarding school days when I was 10 - 13. Us kids,we were all taught in a single room, with one grumpy and sadistic teacher ms Sheridan. Hanging from a single nail by the handle was the biggest paddle ever..The headmaster could paddle 3 boys at a crack with room for one more, that paddle was that big.The handle was about two feet long and needed two hands to swing the damned thing. There wernt any drilled holes, there were tacks punched thru the wood and those nails drew blood. Why do I mention all this-English or more properly grammer was taught at the end of that paddle.Spelling errors, grammer errors took their toll on my ass as well as other kids butts. Thus explains why some of my concepts and expectations are a little old fashoned.Mathmatics or rithmatic was taught by rote, and one had better know what to do with numbers 1 thru 99---add,subtract mult and divide. Each mistake brought a smack on the palm with a ruler...Public school,jr high was only a bit better.High school was hell untill I smartened up and got with the program...Why the hell am I babbling here I really dont know, except to say I have paid my dues....rob

Yes you also brought up old memories. You see i was not born here so my culture and beliefs are a little different than most kids here (USA). Yes i was taught by one teacher and they did use the same method of teaching onmy meaning they would use rules, belts , etc you name it to make us learn the material. I mean they would literaly hit you like if they were your parents. I only got hit once if i remember correctly. Now my friends i don't even want to go there. You know what was even worst, the parents agreed with all of this. In fact some would you even hit you when you got home after you have been hit by the teacher just because you did not listen to the teacher. Here in the USA you just take your parents or teacher to court if they ever lay a hand on you. Maybe this is why i am such a good kid. I rarely socialize in class, i just sit there listening to the teacher. I do what i have to do in class ,play outside.
Just one more thing, English is not my first language as you might have figure out from above, i only learned it about 5 years ago. It was funny when i did not speak a word of English because today i realize how simple it can be. Sometimes i go from English to Spanish and is not the same thing, grammar is a lot different. I not so good at grammar because of this but i'll get better, eventually when i learn to seperate both languages. Now you brought up old memories and to think of it it wasn't so long ago.
Is amazing how time goes by so quick.

I'm glad your having fun even at the expense of me sharing my dark past. I still don't believe teachers would do that.

Id be glad to show you my scars and by the way,I wish nothing at your expense..In 1951,corperal punishment was the thing in private schools as long as the parents consented..Many parents that had boys at ***** school never even had a clue as to what was happening at this school of hell untill a boy was raped by a house-master..So sheath your claws, rob is not your enemy....rob
