Dear Rob,

As you know, I have taken some time out from this Message Board because I shocked myself at having provoked such a vehement response from you. I am truly sorry that you felt that you or your values-system were being attacked by me. Please rest assured that I had no such intention and that your pain caused me pain.

You will be pleased to learn, I am sure, that some of the assumptions you have made about me have not been correct. I am not irreligious or anti-religious and have no desire whatsoever to attack your religion or your beliefs. Like you, I have fought for my country and know what life and death and suffering are like on the battlefield.

Now that I feel that my "time out" has been served and have returned to visitng this Message Board I shall be resuming the thread that I started and interrupted. Please, Rob, whatever I or anyone else might say on this matter in the future, never think that I am attacking you personally: such a thought will never be in my mind.

Dont you dare back down from your beliefs or values..I think,no,I know that basically we have the same values.Hope,faith and trust are the coin of the relm..Our values define our charactor and like a blazing searchlight,your charactor shines outstanding.My purpose was served--Thought processes were provoked into action..The dialogue that followed further served my purpose.Minds--damned good minds--began to churn and reasoned thought was the result..ALL IS WELL....rob

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
