How many people visit this messageboard everyday?
I have noticed over the past few days next to the where shows the date a post was posted next to it says the number of times a message was view. I mean some messages are view over 50 times and if i count correctly there are not many people who post here regulary. I guess we are not alone here, it seems as if many other people who visit this page but never post.

Have you ever thought about it?
Confused??

There are a lot of "surfers" for a variety of different reasons. Some are scared, some are indifferent, some just feel comfortable with the anonimity and will only read. Still more come here frequently but post rarely.

They are all welcome.

Most of the people who do post, are wonderful people.

If the rest who just watch are nearly that great, we are missing alot by not hearing frome them.

So you quiet few, speak up, let yourself be heard.

We may all be better for it.

Hugs,

Kevin

One of the major points of a messagebaord is to allow people to find informaion that they need without ever making themselves known to us. This is why I am very fast to try to put and end to disagreements, backbiting, backstabbing etc.

It takes a great deal for a new poster to break the ice and to make even the simplest post. It is vital that they see places like this as calm and gentle oases where their views or questions or needs can be respected and met with openness and honesty.

It is not "big brother is watching us"; frankly no agency has the time or interest, theough there are major and pwoerful traffic interceptors worldwide that seek certain words/phrases, usually to do with potential terrorist activities. These monitors do not visit any site. It is more that real people arrive, read a post or two, and decide either to return or not.

The messageboard is found from all the major and many minor search engines, as are all web sites.

Some people can look at their own post. "I posted this yesterday, 5 people have viewed it and no-one has replied" and be upset "because no-one has replied, but the rotten swine have read it", but this is an assumption that those who read it were candidates who "normally" reply.
