Ok, Timmy announced it already, now it's ready. At the top of the forum page you will find two links "small ticker" and "big ticker". They will open a little window with a java applet in it. It's a news ticker, just that the news are new posts on this forum. You wont' have to reload all the time, because you will definitely not lose new messages anymore. Just try it out and see if it's useful to you.

You must have a recent Java version installed on your computer (at least Java 1.3.1) which is not the case for default Windows installations (f*** Microsoft for it). So if the java applet doesn't work for you, you have to download and install a new Java version.
To do this go to the page http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html and look in the section "Download J2SE v 1.4.2_01" for your operating system. Then click the "Download" link in the "JRE" column.

Enjoy.

Megaman has deliberately made this ticker "office friendly" so it can be on screenin the busiest office without problems.

I like it in the office, and am also using it at home. But that's me. What about you? Do like the large or the small ticker better?

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.
