Well we are now ready to start taking entries for the competition at
http://iomfats.org/storyshelf/hosted/contestentries/summer2003/
Even if you have never written a thing in your life before, this is
your chance to get a story about a summer romance posted in the
internet and to have people tell you how good it is.
We decided to have no "winners and losers", but to take anonymised
stories and to get the verdict from a pretty wide audience of people
who visit the site about all the good points of the stories.
At the end of the voting period you will be able to see how each
story compares to others, if you care, that is(!), and who wrote it.
Your story will remain on public display on my website (which will
always be a FREE web site), for your friends to see.
So, you have nine weeks to polish your pens and your work, and to
submit. And you may submit more than one story. As long as you
don't break copyright you may submit a story which appears on another
website provided you have the rights to submit it.

i wanted to wait until my things were further along, but i just read the parameters needed/required and mine's not a 'vacation' setting.
*giggles* i'd restart it, except i've done that 345384 times and promised myself last night i wouldn't do that again. i can hold it for another contest, or submit anyway -- i just don't want to clutter what you'll already have to go through, submission-wise, until i know it's okay.

Oh my......
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

You can produce at least 9 12,000 word short stories.

my muse has sufficiently kicked me in the patoot.
while not giving up my other soul-story, i've taken a totally different route. collaborative only because i'm borrowing one of my girl's characters that is paired with my own, with her blessing and editing.
eeeee, so excited. i can't wait to read everyone's things, too!
