Perhaps the recent questions about behind the scenes or little known facts about movies are a little too specialized for our fun little contest.

So, how about this. Let's limit the clues to quotes from characters or characters' names in the movie to be identified.

Here's how the contest will work from now on, then. You identify the quote posted with the name of the character or the movie's name.

Then you get to post the next quote or character name to be guessed by others, and so it will go on.

Here's one to get the ball rolling again:

"Many of you remember Gareth for being very fat. So very fat and very rude. Others remember him for his colorful waistcoats or for his outrageous attempts at cooking. The recipe for his duck a la banana mercifully goes with him to the grave."

What movie is that from?

And remember to post the next question when you get it right!

Have fun! ::-) Surprised Sad)

Nope, that guess is incorrect...

Everybody else feel free to keep on guessing.

Hiya David Very Happy

That would be one of my very favorite movies. I love Hugh Grant and I totally loved Gareth. When his partner said that poem about 'He was my north...' at the funeral, I cried a bucket. That would be 4 Weddings and a Funeral.

Here's a easy one:

"Have you ever done it on a real train?"
"Sometimes, you just gotta say 'What the fuck'."
"Joel, for God's sake.....Get off the babysitter."

I have a half feeling it may be 4 Weddings and a Funeral. If so I'll post a question. But I'm not sure.

No, the more I think of it the more I am sure. So, I need to think of something.

We're looking for odd or obscure.

Now, there is a hint. And the actor was untimely killed iun a random mugging on the New York subway. He watched the boy he seemd to love swinging round the horizontal bar in the gym while pulling on, or off, a white sweater. Gay. It didn't launch his career, that was another actor. So the one I want is the one who watched. Actor or character's name. And film.
