To avoid the ludicrous state of affairs where an author of a co-operative story in another place has both required his chapters to be withdrawn, and his characters to be removed form the story, I have made the rules for Robin very clear.

They are at http://www.iomfats.org/storyshelf/robin/robincastlist.htm [opens in a new window]. All exisiting authors should read them and tell me within 7 days from the time of this message if they have any problems with the rule that states "Once a chapter is submitted and accepted, while the author retains full copyright, the chapter may not be withdrawn. 'Robin' is a co-operative story, and chapters are submitted in the full knowledge that they remain on this or a similar site or sites as an integral part of the story." Once that period has elapsed all existing authors will be bound by that rule unless they have made email representations to me.

I'm sorry to get all legalistic. I want to preserve a worthy experiment and the integrity of my site. The vitriol expressed elsewhere and the weaponry used there have no place in my life.

Please note: I make no comment on the rights and wrongs of the saga elsewhere, and I would appreciate it if that saga were kept on the messagebaord of the relevant site.
