I student from out class wrote this and it such a strong poem i would like to share it with you. It was originally done in spanish so i'm going to try and translate it hoping i will not change its meaning.
UNDRESS
How can we be different from so many people?
How can we cross the barrier of the jail we call society?
An opressive society, critizing itself. Liberty without liberty.
Sights that destroy deliberatively.
You are valuable for what you have, not for what you feel.
Union based on social class, race, clothes, and colors.
Racism even at our own clones.
Racist the whites, racist me , racist even the blacks.
Who had not thrown a stone without wanting to ?
Who has not stayed quiet for fear to lose?
Who has not open their mouth whitout fear to bite?
Hate to history, hate to legends.
How many more have to die?
Because of racism, or even better for that shit.
To the north, to the south. To the east , to the west,
we all live in the same land,
we breath the same air, and we all feel equally.
And to everyone, death comes equally.
Then , Why the wars?
Then , Why the reacism?
If in this world we are allthe same
and in the face of death , we will all rest in the same earth.
To die , to live, we all follow the same cicle, the same destiny.
We will go to heaven in soul
and it won't matter what you will be wearing.
I hope you like it , it has a lot to say. I love it so much. It sounds a lot better in spanish and just hope you get the same message from it.
