We've been trying very hard to make the site "everything compliant". That includes getting all the awkward charactwers like left and right naded quotes sorted out as "quoted characters" according to real web browser standards. Ideally that gives everyone a better browsing experience.

Not so WebTV, a service which truly sucks, but is far better than no service at all.

To give regular browser users an idea, the line "Just Hit ‘Send’ - The Interim Years" appears in WebTV as "Just Hit & lsquo;Send& rsquo; - The Interim Years" Not unreadable, but damned hard.

Now, I suggest all WebTV users explain a few things to the producers of this rather appalling piece of stuff. Meanwhile, I am going to scan gently for pages that do not display well in WebTV and see how I can make them show up well for you.

Only please give me some time. I am having mega computer problems at present, and just can't devote the time to it. I have to earn a living as well. And even have a life, too.

I didn't even realise there was a problem until I found a webtv lookalike browser that I could install on my PC.
