Do you do anything special on Halloween night? We have a huge party and then go to the Haunted House. I guess I should say that it's cool and not scarey but whoaaaaaaaa !! It's like the adults try to scare the Bejesus out of us for all the trouble we caused during the rest of the year haha!
It's weird how dark changes stuff and your mind starts working overtime.

Anyway, have a great Halloween day, don't eat all the candy you bought for Trick or Treat and remember....it's only 54 days til Christmas Sad)

oh gosh, only 54?! thank god i have half my x-mas shopping done!

for halloween, we usually go trick-or-treat the neighborhood--about ten blocks. but over the past few years, less and less people are opening their doors. or, they aren't home, and off doing halloween party things, instead.

so this year, the huge mall they just built a couple years ago (which means FINALLY my city has reached the 21st century and has a Big Mall) is having trick or treating in there, with all the merchants. this includes the actual stores, AND the little island shops out on the floors. gosh, i hope we can keep it straight!! i've never even BEEN in this mall yet. usually i go to grand rapids to do mall-things, and i was waiting until the new-ness wore off the lakes mall before i attempted to go inside.

it's just a better setup, i think: it's safer, it's WARMER (as it's supposed to rain and be cold tonight), so shiloh can romp around in her kitten costume without having 324289 coats and pants on beneath it. and with hardly anyone opening doors anymore, well, she'll probably get MORE candy than she would have. which means i get to be a naggy mom about teethbrushing even more, haha.

last year, since i'd just had abdominal surgery and all, i set up a scavenger hunt throughout the whole house. not hard, right? cause she knows this house, lives here, etc .. except, she had to do the hunt by CANDLE LIGHT. at first she was sad about not going out trick or treating, but ten minutes into it, she was having a blast. i was laughing so hard i thought my staples were gonna tear!! it was great.

i can't wait until she's old enough to WANT parties. because we have a neat back yard area that can be set up all freaky like .. and i just LOVE dressing up and entertaining .. i'm shy, but when pretending to be someone else, or covered by masks, i can go on under whatever guise i'm using, and entertain.

i hope all of you have a great halloween, if you're celebrating it. and be safe, too. Smile

Ugh... Don't worry, cande goes straight to my thighs.
Usualy I walk around, and see if I recognise anyone.

You said when you'd die that you'd walk with me every day
And I'd start to cry and say please don't talk that way
With the blink of an eye the Lord came and asked you to meet
You went to a better place but He stole you away from me

aww! if you lived closer i'd make you come to the mall trick-or-treat with shiloh and i! that would be so much fun.

i'm having a crisis -- i don't know if i want to do the "phlebotomist" vampire motiff or not, because it was brought to my attention people might not get it; they will think i'm just a doctor from afar.

so i could doll it up all vampy style. i have the outfits, but then it's not AS funny.

i just know my cement-fangs rock and i must use them, and i don't have much time to decide. D: D:

so now i go do homework and then shower, and hopefully decide by 5pm, heh!

As scary as it sounds, this morning, October 31st, 2003, at 1:03 am, D'Artagnon turned the ripe old age of 33, plus or minus however many it takes to remain a virtual 12 year old brat Sad) Cool ;-D

At any rate, Have a safe one, everyone. And remember that the little ones will be everywhere tonight, so watch the roads.

Damnit, But you can't get a decent scooby-doo type witch laugh over this MB! Oh well, guess you'll have to go on imagination for that one.

Cya and Happy Howlllllllllll-oween!

Do your phlebo thing, who cares if some schmucks don't get it? Smile Never aim at the lowest common denominator, that's just demeaning. Smile

Have lots of fun today you and Shi! Smile

And btw, Kevin, I'd go with you to the movies. There's nothing wrong at all with enjoying a good flick, particulary with company! Smile

Hugs to everyone:
