I must say that I am feeling terrific today myself. Since I work a half-day Saturady, I take Sundays and Mondays off, so I'm relaxing with Man at our house by the Andaman Sea. Paying the rent and other monthly bills isn't gripping, but having an income again after the summer unpaid holiday is very nice indeed.
Plus I had a great day yesterday. I needed a new watch and found a really nice one after loads of looking all over the place and not finding one for ages. I also got a fabulous 2 hour massage, which relaxed me for the whole day.
Tonight we are eating dinner with friends, and getting ready for a big Thai national holiday next Saturday, called Loy Kratong. Google on that term for cool pictures of floating lanterns and water floats like the ones Man is making by hand as well.
Life is good.
Now if only I could lose some of the weight my doctor keeps harping about...hehehe::-)

i too, am doing pretty well ... much better than last week, and definitely the week before.
what about you, M?? 
i have a clinical and final today in my short (3 sessions) asepsis class. yay sterilisation!! 
also i have creative writing tonight, and for the first time in awhile am not totally dreading it. well i *am* -- but only because it drags on for SO long. we turn in our final stories (the one i posted for help and opinions on) and i've finally given it a title, and polished it up all nice. my friend who also teaches CW gave it a final look over, and she said it's "definitey not something she'd turn her nose up at" and "it's nice to see you are grasping the concept of including The Elements without losing the style of writing you like." that made me happy.
we're on poetry now. and so we'll see how that goes. i haven't done any poems yet, but have jotted lines that have popped into my head here and there, to put together later.
busy, busy, busy. but not bad. spent a lot of time with my little girl this weekend, which ate hugely into homework time, but it was worth it. i think my anxiety is starting to level off to the point i can *handle* things without going ballistic...
i bet this is more than you wanted, huh?! LOL.
i gotta see about resetting my PW here so's i can use my actual login name. narf!

I hope your CW teacher likes your stories now that you've finished them (can I see, please?), and good luck with the poetry. I try to steer clear of that, my attempts are usually short, dark and horrible.
I prefer writing a story instead if I wish to express a memory, an emotion or whatever... Guess that's just the way I am, not dissing poetry by saying it's not quite my style.
Your weekend sounds great. I'm so glad you're spending time with your girl, many parents don't really do that. One can only hope she'll want to continue to be with you as time passes and she gets older.
