I am going to be away.

I am going to leave this board in the hands of a "guest moderator", and no-one will know who it is. It may be Megaman. You only know him as a demigod behind the scenes. It may be someone else with his help.

If unpleasantness arrives here it will be treated very differently during this week from the way I treat it. Why? Because the moderator is a different person. I will not expect them to give anyone any reasons for their decisions. They answer to their conscience, and quietly and in confidence, to me.

Where will I be?

In Blackburn, Lancashire. Earning a living. Without internet access.

I read the news today, oh boy;
four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire.
And though the holes were rather small,
they had to count them all.
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.
I'd love to turn you on....

Sorry, Tim; Beatles fan that I am, I just couldn't resist.

Greetings to our "guest moderator" (whoever you may be). I hope your services end up not being needed.

Best of luck on your business trip, Tim! You'll be missed here!
