That's really sweet. *hugs* I'm glad you liked it. I really love that song. The best thing to come from it is how many people have written or called me to find out what they can do to help homeless kids.
Every homeless shelter needs basic personal items like toothpaste, tooth brush, disposable razors, shaving cream, soap, deodrant, hand lotion, etc.
They also need blankets, pillows, food, and money.
Every year I collect & deliver blankets, coats, and items like those listed above from people who live near me, read my web site. We collect canned goods from everyone who comes to a concert for the food bank. People want to help, they just don't know where to start. Some of my friends (students) who don't have much money to spare, donate their time serving meals at organizations like "food not bombs".
I think a lot of people feel depressed during the holidays. One of the best ways to feel better yourself and make your life more meaningful is by helping someone else. If you can, help homeless kids.
