except she apparently likes being a woman in a woman's body enough to have relationships that work. err, well. until hollywood drama interrupts, but you know what i mean...
i had a nap and then woke up (and lo, my laptop is fixed and currently is defragging and scandisking), and for as happy as i was last night, i'm horribly depressed. but not 'omg bad' depressed, just reality hitting. that no, i will never be a boy. the most i'll be is some margaret cho/debbie novotny wannabe fag-hag. the most i can hope for is to lose the rest of this weight and pull off looking like a boy for at least my own piece of mind and sanity ... except cross-dressing usually just makes me feel more confused in the end, because i'm not really boy-ISH, or butch-ISH, or what have you.
(although, my friend c's college is having a drag show to benefit something or other, and her and i are going to go as 30s gangsters, and i will be going as far to bind my chest and pin all my hair up in my hat. it's fun, but in the end i still lack the right body and parts and take it all off and hey wow, it's still just me)
