I liked that one too, especially the kiss.

Hugs,

I also totally agree about that movie...the grandmother was also sweet. Lenny, the DVD is definately worth it!

Another one I just saw recently for the first time was "My Life As A House" with Kevin Kline as the father of a hot Haydn Christianson as a troubled teenager (before he played Anakin). VERY good movie.

Plus of course this is the week-end that "The Return of the King" opened all over the world. I LOVE International openings so I can see some of the new ones at the same time as my friends in the US! So I went to see it on Saturday. LOVED it, of course. The review I read seemed to be correct...it isn't long enough to tidy up all the endings for people like me who love the books. But it is probably too long for those who didn't read them...hehe. Odd how Saruman simply disappears in the final cut...but I hear that he'll re-appear in the release of the Director's Cut DVD's.

Actually Australia is still waiting until Boxing Day, the 26th of December, I believe and Japan is waiting until some time in February for whatever the hell reason. I feel left out....

Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

Maybe they want to wait until all the reviews are in.

You said when you'd die that you'd walk with me every day
And I'd start to cry and say please don't talk that way
With the blink of an eye the Lord came and asked you to meet
You went to a better place but He stole you away from me
