rich sent me the ability to be able to take at-this-moment pictures, so first thank you for that! secondly, okay. i'm still messing with the focus knob and things, because this is the same problem i had with my old digi-cam; that the pics come out looking blur-smudged, or like a watercolor (for instance, this shirt i'm wearing is supposed to be a sharp paisley shirt, and shiloh's head is just ... very distorted). but i was trying to focus, which meant on my webcam screen there was movement while i turned the knob, so it's hard to focus when the subject is not still!
but anyway, here is me, looking WAY worse than usual due to being sick, which = no makeup as well as swollen glands which make me have a chipmunk face. i'm going to take another that'll hopefully look more "natural," as the ten second delay here actually seemed like 20, and we were all, "yeeeeeah, smiling ... still smiling ... *still* smiling..." and it looks fake, lol!! so we'll probably set the delay to 3 or 5.
so here is the pic (and below that, a link to it, in case i did posting the picture wrong), proof positive that yes, i really am an ugly creature on days i'm not forcibly making myself look like a not so bad creature.
