Well not just our family. Friends from down the road and round the corner came. We ate, drank, and talked. A christmas day that was pleasant, family based and just ordinary.
I know this is meant to be about a guy named Christ's birthday celebration, but that is not in my theology. Instead I celebrated peace and love and friendship.
I thought of you all. To many to mention by name lest I leave one person out. I prayed for us all. Briefly and to the point. That we may find peace of mind and contentment in what we have.
I thought specially of those that I love, and found I could not separate them from the least of the people I know.
I thought of those I do not know, will never know. And asked that they be safe.
For me that is what every time of year is about. This period crystalises it, that is all.
