...i'm going to pretend like this matters, really. :-/
what's going on is that my AC cord, while plugged in correctly, which i know to be true because i'm not that stupid, is not juicing up my laptop. it used to be if i wiggled it around in its plug-hole in the back of the laptop (no connotations made on purpose, hee!), then it would say "on AC power" in my taskbar.
now, no matter what i do, it's not working, and i'm down to 20 percent power in my battery.
so i'm hoping dell will send me a new one, as i still have 2 years left of a regular warranty, my in-home warranty being done (although the nice dellman mailed me a person to fix it the other day). if not, then i'm fucked, as i have no money to buy a new cord, and all x-mas money i received has to pay bills.
so until then, love.
