/random nonsense title.

let me tell you that a 56k modem never EVER seemed like a luxury until this beast of a machine and its 28.8 connection.

it appears that it's not the AC cord at fault--i bought a new one at radio shack, when returning an item it seems i won't be using anymore, i guess. Confused?? anyway, i came home, plugged it into the wall, into the laptop, and still no green light. still a dead battery. so i called the dell people (i swear, i swear when i pay that laptop off, never AGAIN. i can never understand their tech support people; i try to, but i cannot make the accent out EVER; secondly, dell is award winning this and that but a machine barely 2 years old and well taken care of has crapped on me 3 times now?), and ohhhh man. firstly, i CANNOT buy a new in-home warranty, to therefore have it fixed faster, and the whiney girl routine didn't work this time to have them bend the rule and send someone. and so, secondly, i have to wait for some schmoe with a box to come take my laptop away. to what? replace the WHOLE motherboard, because with the AC cord not being it, it's apparently the connectors on the motherboard, that the cord plugs into.

....great! last night, i drempt that the folks at dell tore into my laptop, made it perfect with a new motherboard, booted it up to make sure it works, saw my desktop (enhanced image of brian and justin at prom, with song subtitles i put in myself all fancy and ghost-white), and then ruined my computer on purpose because they hated gay people. Confused?? Confused??

so .. i'm here, yes, but not. whenever i have more than one web window up, or more than one message program (aim/yahoo, aim/msn, msn/yahoo, etc), things start to lock up, die, crash, or my connection drops. ew, i say!

tonsillitis turned out to also be some form of otitis media--or, a middle ear infection (yay medical terminology! i love that doctor's can't fool ME now). my whole right side, like, from throat to ear when swallowing hurts like NO other. it appears i won't be going out for new year's after all. really, it's better i don't. Smile

i miss .. many of you. i wonder if i'm missed at all, then realise that's totally vain and stupid. i do still have email, btw. but there's no outlook express on this machine (which btw! *i* put together in 1.5 days, with old parts from my basement!!! OMG, why am i going into the medical field again?!?!?! but yeah, hence "beast of a machine" -- it's the body of one comp, and the innards of another, etc), which is running win 95 haphazardly.... so it's webmail to get to netzero, which takes FOOOOOREVER on this connection.

i will be back in full swing and such, at least to talk to those i used to before this, as soon as delldorks send my thing back. i just wanted to say happy birthday to bambam too, and rich i miss you, kevin i miss you too, and i guess we won't be hanging out after all (though i am not surprised); dani and lenny and marc and all you all. i = missing you.

my void does not want.
