The rules are simple...you guess the quote's origin, character, movie, whatever, correctly, and then you post the next quote in a reply message for the contest to continue.
and all that jazz...
Alright, then; here's the quote or, rather, the brief dialogue.
Speaker 1: "Now, you know what the clutch is?"
Speaker 2: "Sure I know what the clutch is."
Speaker 1: "What is the clutch?"
Speaker 2: "The clutch, it, uh.... it clutches."
Have fun.

Well, speaker #2 sounds a whole lot like G.W. Bush, but I'm not sure he ever starred in a movie.
Think good thoughts,

Just kidding (haha). Okay, MAYBE that quote was a wee bit obscure so - in case you were actually wondering from which film I copied dialogue - I'll tell you what it was.
ROAD TO PERDITION!
Speaker one was Tom Hanks
Speaker two was his son
The conversation took place while Hanks's character was attempting to teach his son how to drive.
SHEEEEEESH!
;-D

Fair enough!
Thanks for telling us...I loved that movie (in a bittersweet and sad kind of way), but didn't recognise the quote.
How about you post a new thread with another quote, and give us all a chance to redeem our movie trivia honour?
Hope so!

Jaa naturlijk! But they're usualy in a foreign language!
You said when you'd die that you'd walk with me every day
And I'd start to cry and say please don't talk that way
With the blink of an eye the Lord came and asked you to meet
You went to a better place but He stole you away from me
