For all who care I havnet been posting much becuase my head and eyes have been hurting me. I went to the doc a bit ago they gave me meds, the meds made it almost impossible for me to see. NOw I went again today for another check up and I need to get an MRI of my head *fears another hour in the tube* So They think my head ahces might have a connection between my jaw not being qquite aligned and my grinding the teeth together (which hurt slike a mofo) I mean honeslty my jaw is aching becuase I grind my teeth... So they are gonna check that out too. In the meantime I need to go get some lunch and get back to school before I skip too much more of the day. Love always
Andy

You know its funny when I first got my glasses years and years ago when I was just a youngin int hird grade I was really happy cuz I thought I would never have these sight problems again. IT's weird how much we take for advantage jsut beign able to see clearly everyday. Coming from somoen who is pratically blind with out his glasses its kinda a weird thing to forget not beign able to see. I guess I'll jsut need to get my meds straightened out and be all better. That seems like the only good option to me.

It sucks not being able to see. I have glasses too, and can't make out a face if it's more than a couple meters away unless I'm wearing 'em, but it's not as bad as you have it. Our eyes are terribly important to us, so I really really hope you get the help you need.

Best of luck with the MRI. Hope you're not claustrophobic. Smile

Take care now, lil treehugger.

Take care andy and get better. I hope that it's nothing too serious that can't be fixed easily. I don't know much about how teeth grinding causes migraines, but I've heard of stuff like that happening. I do know about glasses, though. I've been wearing them since 2nd grade. The last couple years I can't seem to get a pair with the prescription just right. My eyes seem to change on a daily basis and sometimes I can see better than others. I can read the computer monitor with my glasses on, but have to take them off to read anything in print. Even bifocals don't help much.

Take care of yourself and don't let "the tube" get you down.

TMJ stands for Temporo-Mandibular Joint or your jaw joint. I have just what you're describing, Andy. I wore braces to correct my bite because I have headaches and earaches and I can't do stuff like chew gum or eat apples. I grind my teeth too. It's common for people under a lot of stress. Here's a site that tells you the symptoms. Scroll down to headaches.
