Okay fellas here is a question for you to answer... Why was Miss Jackson black balled,"no pun intended" from the Grammy awards show but yet Mr Timberlake who was a part of the whole thing also.. I am a milato so by no meens am I pulling the so called race card, but was this a just punishment for the supposed crime???? Censorship hmmm. Sound's like a woman getting the shitty end of the stick to me! For crist sakes it was a tit not her vagina.. It just goes to show that this country that was formed by Quakers and Proppers and the old way of thinking still has a stong hold on everyone in this so called fine country of our's.... One more thing why is it that homosexuality is so accepted and inter acila dating is soo very taboo on american television???

Janet Jackson has a new CD coming out and it was desperate "grab" for publicity, good or bad. She's got a bunch of younger girl singers nipping at her heels and she needs the "exposure". She was only going to give out an award. The Grammy people had to look like they were censoring someone, I suppose.
Justin T on the other hand, was up for like 5 grammys. He is a HOT commodity right now. No one wants to piss him off. The way he was after the Super Bowl, all cocky (ha) and sassy; he knew it wouldn't hurt him at all.
I don't think it was black/white at all. Just a kneejerk reaction to pressure.

But then, I'm wrong alot Cool smith

I never understood why a teat was a sexual item. It isn't really very special. Just a specialised sweat gland and a source of food, no more and no less. Ah well.

BTW isn't it Mr Jackson who has (presumably) black balls? Cheap shot. I like what I've seen of him. Naive, but OK.

Multi-racial dating is always a taboo topic. And for no valid reason. A theme worth developing?

Dammit some story sites have "interracial" as a fetish! That annoys me. It goes with chinese vaginas being sideways and black penises being huge. "odd".

Are you, smith? Not in my experience! Smile

As I understand the situation, it was the CBS Television network (not the Grammy Awards) which demanded as a condition of appearance on the Grammys that both Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake make an on-air apology for what happened during the Super Bowl half-time show. Janet Jackson didn't (again, probably in an effort to boost marketablilty for her soon-to-be-released CD), but Justin Timberlake did (probably because he was nominated for several Grammys). CBS, imho, had no right to demand this. Nor did they have a right to install a 5-minute delay system so that they could bleep anything they found to be in any way untoward (if they were so afraid of that happening, then perhaps they should sign over the broadcast rights to MTV). In fact, I'm surprised they didn't censor that endorsement of John Kerry for president by that Britsh artist during his accpetance speech. Let's not forget, it was also CBS which refused to accept that advertisment from moveon.org to run during the Super Bowl claiming that they would accept no issue-oriented advertising, while at the same time accepting and running those insipid anti-drug ads sponsored by the Bush White House.

A letter to the editor of my local newspaper said it best, I think. He was astounded that while it has taken a year for the U.S. Government to launch any sort of investigation into faulty intelligence regarding Iraq, it only took a day for the U.S. Government to launch an investigation into Janet Jackson's right nipple.

I, too, for the life of me, simply can't understand why so many people are making such a big stink over this. Goodness knows there are so many other things going on in this world that are worthy of such attention but are being largely ignored (the latest example for me being that 14 year old Palestinian boy who was killed while walking home from school when the Israeli army attacked a car in a crowded area suspected of belonging to alleged terrorists). Even forgetting that, it is all just so childishly silly.

;-DRon I like your way of thinking!!! I also beleive that the reason for them not bleeping the whole indorsment for Carey is becaus eeveryonr in this country is trying do what ever it takes to get Dictator Bush out of office... The big question on my mind right now is how do you get to pic your own team to investigate your own wrong doings???? Sounds fishy to me... Thanx for taking the time to read and reply to my fun yet serious topic...

I also thought thatabout the breast,"LOL" but any who it is also upsetting to me that inter racial dating is soo taboo in this day and ge of supposed open mindedess... I am lik I said in the post from biracial decent and also from an all white family that adopted me at the age of 18wks.. I have such horrible luck with dating because I am unfortunately not attracted to men of colr but white men... I am often turnd down by other gay men because of being of color my self and have even been told to sette for another man of color... This to me is not fair and I cant understand how gay men can be racist after all of the illtreatment by societ.. Who knows maybe the previrbial pengilum that is swinging isnt moving at all.. Oh I like that whole Micheal comment but as I understood he dosnt have anything black left on him,"LOL"... Thanx for the feed back and I am truely enjoying your site!!!
