"Belle du (de?) Jour" is a french film about a bored housewife who becomes a prostitite during the day.

Just opposite the office I was working in today is a ladies' evening gown shop "Belle du Jour".

Some people have weird ideas for shop names

The chicken or the egg?

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

The film came first. Oddly the store shows evening gowns. And "jour" is day! Ah well!

Well, there are mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights and all those little titles for other parts of the "jour" or day.

After all, have you ever seen the "soup de evening" on a menu?
