That was simply gorgeous!
This view is maybe not as good as yours, but it's not every day one gets to see the balls of crown prince William of Britain so I couldn't resist attaching these two... Sorry, didn't mean to derail the thread or anything.
Your pic really was amazing. You snapped it yourself I suppose?

You should be in your bed, not sitting at the computer. Are you still eating the popcicles? Hugs to my sick Andy {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}
That is a baby alligator. Here's a picture of him full length. Don't you want me to get you one for a pet?

Thanks smith....The N. Carolina pic is about 2 miles upstream from the Waterfall that was in "Last of the Mohicans", the one everyone hides behind. At least that is what the park ranger said. The pic is taken from about 1/2 mile away and is the top of Whitewater Falls - about 500 feet tall.
And watch out for Archie in about 2 years.

I'd swear I hiked across that stream in the first one a thousand times when I was little and playing on the mountain behind my grandmother's house in West Virginia.
Andy, I'd hate to think of what my tonsils might have looked (and felt) like if I still had them when I got sick a few weeks ago. It was bad enough without them. If you've got a stuffy nose to go with it, put some garlic, horseradish, and cayenne into that chicken broth. It'll clear your head, but no one will want to go near you.

Think good thoughts,

You don't love someone because they are beautiful, they are beautiful because you love them.

I reckon that even those baby teeth would give you quite a nip.
You didn't hold him did you smith? Shudders.
Anyone ever brought one of those into the vets?

Nice set of teeth by the way. I don't think anyone ever posted a picture of their teeth before. This could start a whole new trend...

Thanks for sharing that magnificent picture, E.J.!
It serves as a reminder to this "city slicker" that winter is (at long last!) over, and I'll soon be re-visiting some of my favorite outdoor "haunts" (and, hopefully, discovering some new ones as well).
With that in mind, permit me to post a picture taken at one of those "haunts": a nature preserve called "Bartholomew's Cobble", which is nestled right in the extreme southwest corner of Massachusetts.

Hey smith, you had only showed me that "head-shot" of "Archie". I had no idea he was that big!

Hey Andy, are those really your teeth, or did you scan that picture from a print ad for Aquafresh Toothpaste? ;-D
Congratulations on (at long last!) losing the braces. Now if you could only stop being sick and feel well, you'd make all of us happy (especially you).

You reminded me so much of the camping trip I took last week to Judah Desert (although here it is read as Ye-hoo-da), not because the view is similar but because of the unspoilt natural beauty
