It's come to my attention that the  folks who are trying to hold a big rally in Dayton Tennessee are having problems with getting people in their community to donate to the event.    
 
Now since that county voted to ban gays from the county that comes as no surprise.  
 
So, with the event only 4 days away, they still don't have the money to pay for a sound system and a stage.  
 
In effect - gays in Rhea County  have been SILENCED.  
 
I hope that everyone who reads this board will copy/paste this message  - post it on all the message boards - send it out in e-mails and lets try to rally some financial support for the brave people who live in Dayton Tennesse and in Rhea County.  
 
They only have 4 days. They have 3,500 people coming and NO SOUND SYSTEM.  
 
I know that Lance is trying to borrow a sound system for them and drive it down there himself but  he's not sure he can come up with one - his was stolen so he doesn't have one now.  
 
If ANYONE anywhere near Dayton, Tennessee can provide a sound system please let us know.  We want to help the folks in Dayton make this happen and send a message to homophobes everywhere.  
 
The organizers of Gay Day in Dayton Tennessee are trying to raise the money to pay for renting a sound system and a stage.  If you can help them

Frankly, we think such laws are silly. They do young people more harm than good. How can you possibly ask questions on a gay forum without coming out to your parents if you need consent?
