What do you do when you just about can't take it any more?
To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance.

Do whatever you can to withdraw from whatever it is you can't take. If it means a big change like quitting your job or joining a Buddhist Temple for a month, then if it is necessary, then sobeit.
Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

You talk to people about what is wrong. You prioritise your issues and you solve them, one by one

When I feel bad, I try to talk to my friends.
I am your friend, Brian. I'd love to talk to you!
Take care, alright?

As far as what to do is concerned you have been given very good advice by others here. As far as what NOT to do is concerned: don't get into a tizzwazz. Stay calm. Every storm blows itself out in the end. I too am your friend.

Brian ~ What do you do when you think you just can't take it anymore?
You try to change it, try to fix it, try to endure it.........and then, finally, you move on. Some things can be mended; some things can't. Take a really good look at what's hurting you and see if it's worth it to you to agonize over it.
Thing is, Brian......not many things are worth beating yourself up over. I've just been there and done that and, believe me, now that I look back, all I can say is: "What the hell was I thinking?"
You do the best you can, whether it's a job, a person or a circumstance. If I've learned one thing, it's that time eases hurts. When you feel like you're gonna totally lose it, turn to friends and you find that kind words and support can soothe and comfort.
You know that light at the end of the tunnel? It really is there in a form you may not even recognize but you've gotta look for it.
