One of our regular number here could do with a bit of a hand. He fell unwell on Saturday and had to be helped home where he spent the day recovering. He has been prescribed rest and a subtle change of medication. That is hard for him, he is a busy and selfless person, and his illness, while not life threatening per se, nonetheless coudl curtail his life if he is unwise.
I am not going to name him. Nor, I think would he appreciate being "outed" as unwell. But some thoughts about him "whoever he is" as you read this woudl be appreciated.

Well, maybe I know this person, maybe I don't, but regardless I will try to keep them in my thoughts, too. I hope they recover soon, because it can really suck to have your freedom and ability to do things taken away by sickness, whether a long term or a short term thing. I hope they are able to deal with their period of unwell as is necessary so they can overcome it and then continue to go about their lives as they otherwise would. Best wishes with them.
Look at this tree. I cannot make it blossom when it suits me nor make it bear fruit before its time [...] No matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach.

I hope you do not mind me calling you friend, because I would like to think of everyone here as my friend. Thus, as my friend, that means I care about you and your well-being.
Today is a fine day where I live. I will spend it thinking about you and hope you are doing well.
Please rest a bit and let your body recover; that way it will serve you better in the future!
Take care, my friend!
