Skylake Connection
By Felix
I'm passing over timer, places I’ll never forget. Passing over the glazing red pasture, where I stood alone, playing with what I call loneliness. Starring at the shiny sun and striking by the sting of the shivering wind that uplifted the particles of water from the skylake that separates the infinite mounts of dust, grass and blinding snow.
Until he appeared, and tranquility by his side.
And there I stood.
I looked at him with my deep coal eyes, with a smile drawn on my face for a short time that stretched forever. The innocence possessed me and gave me the notion of movement that I needed to say hi. He smiled. And the fragments of time stopped. Stopped in such a way that I saw through him. My angel. I was amazed that my godfather appeared right next to me. How he transported himself from an unknown place just to see me. To advice me about life. What he said, I’ll never forget.

But then, the mountains hid and the skylake turned dark. The mighty thunders rushed through the ruby ceiling calling only his name, searching for him. He raised his hand towards infinity, and flew away from me. He flew away from my thoughts.
And there I stood, confused. The sky cried. Drops of water completed the scene. Bullets had torn my godfather’s chest apart several paradises away from me. It hurt, I know because I felt it. I felt such a burn that the marks are still fresh even though a decade has already passed since that day. Anyone can see the holes that marked my liberty and my comprehension about this paradoxical world. And there I stood, alone.
I sensed his connection. It was strong enough to talk to him in his capillary of death. The drums prelude him as he and his eternal jail of wood passed through the masses of people that tore apart their hearts for him. He wasn't going to be there anymore. Just our connection.
The connection is there. When people are true with each other, when people share passionate sentiments and cry for the benefits of each other. The connection is there. That is what my godfather said.
Every person in this sky is different. The only thing they share is a connection. A connection deep inside us, that sets the rhythm of what we are, what we belief, what we share, and what we give. I only saw my godfather for a moment, but that minuscule second helped me understand the complexity of what I call my world. The world in which I live, and my world that gave me the most indispensable tool, my values.

You don't love someone because they are beautiful, they are beautiful because you love them.
