The problem with this post is that some people will think "My God, he means ME!" And I don't. I mean the world in general.
Two things last night reminded me of something. That we all hide. We're wise to hide when we need to hide. It's just that things happen that suddenly make us open up to someone else. or more than one "someone else".
When that happens, when a layer of armour is discarded, that is wonderful and awesome and amazing.
No, you do not "know who you are" from my post. But it feels as if you do. But this message is to everyone who is hiding inside armour to say "When you take the armour off, sure you will lose a couple of people. But all your real friends will stick by you. And even those you lost are likely to come back over time, if you want them."
It's amazingly good to be honoured with the removal of the armour, you know. It shows that someone trusts you. Totally. I know how it feels as you remove the armour, too. Relief, and you feel you want to weep
