.....for having what I guess people would call a total drama princess moment. I've been embroiled in personal (hearthurting) problems for almost 5 months now and I was seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The light is a soft gentle gray, the color of the misty sea.
I was having trouble writing and the chapters were further and further apart. I am sorry for that as it eases me to write. If you read the message I wrote on Tim's newsletter this morning, I hope you can understand why I just jerked my stories off. JHS is very personal to me and that invasion was literally the straw that broke my heart.
I received mail from the loveliest people asking me to please put JHS back up. I knew it captured some people's hearts but I didn't realize the importance of Danny to many readers. I gladly share it with anyone who wants to read and hope everyone can forgive me my moment of teen angst.
Again, I'm very sorry for the commotion. Those of you who know me, know dang well I didn't mean to cause a stir. For those of you who showed your caring and love of J&D so eloquently, thank you.

I shall have to buy you the "I'm a Little Princess" T Shirt.
But seriously I understand precisley what caused you to need the stories taken away. The person who sent the inappropriate material needs to think carefully about his actions.

i didn't see the newsletter (i think i have to resubscribe) but i never thought, or would think, that your reasons for doing what you needed to do were invalid.
remember what i told you-- or well, the message i passed to you-- which was a message you passed to me once, which is a message debbie passed to emmett.
even though we don't mail anymore, i do think of you lots, and wish you well even more.

I’m happy to see you have reconsidered your decision. You are a very talented writer and your kindness by sharing your writings in spite of your troubles will surely be much appreciated.
Hugs,

Hi,
I´m happy to see, that you and your stories are back online. There is no need to apologize at all!!
We´ve never met personally, but JHS has always been a constant companion of mine, has been one of the reasons always to come back to visit Tim´s homepage and of course "our" bord, THE PLACE OF SAFETY. (Although I didn´t say Hello for a very long time.)
Perhaps we all should repeat the name of this board more often and remember, that those people that are here arround to help and care are legion and only a very few are... phhh not worth to mention.
It´s written nearly at the top of iomtats.org first page:
You are here: Home
Tim has build this place for us, but -as I see it- you are a important part of it. Therefore: Thank you for being back!
Jasper
P.S.
Two things I want to mention shortly in that post scriptum:
1: Perhaps you have to apologize indeed, because I think I´ll start to reread JHS right now and will get probably no sleep at all tonight!
2: I hardly recommend all readers here to make printouts of the stories you like, who knows what comes next

It's a pleasure having you back.
But remember, you're not the only drama princess here, kiddo. I thought we said we were both drama princesses! You can't be one without me! That's not fair! Hehe. ;-D

Welcome home!!!
First of all, may I say again that you have nothing whatever to apologize for (unlike those who caused all this in the first place). That still in no way diminishes (indeed, it points up) how much you were missed here. As Jasper said, those who care and want to help are legion (as that one-question poll Tim posted clearly attests), and only a very few are unworthy of mention (and to them, I say again, do us all a favor, including yourselves, and find a message-board where you and your ilk can get your jollies at each others’ expense, and leave us alone!).
That bit of research Kimo did is most significant. I’m guessing (and Kimo, please confirm or clarify, whatever the need be) that those numbers come from looking up the number of teens in wheelchairs in the USA and Europe, and dividing that number by 10 (the approximate estimate of the percentage of the population that are g/l/b/t). It’s a safe bet that many (if not most) of those people can use even more hope and reassurance than their non-physically-challenged peers (and, as Jasper says, if only one of them found that by reading "Just Hit Send", then it was all very much worthwhile, indeed). Now, factor in those others who aren’t physically challenged who have also benefited, and those numbers become even more awesome.
"Dreamchasers" is a much newer story, but it had already asserted its own (very different, but very meaningful) voice early on. Its loss before being brought to its conclusion would have been equally as sorely missed.
I hope "Turn Around Bright Eyes" doesn’t end up being your only “stand-alone” story; and as for that most special "Summerfire", well, I think you’ll understand why I’ll refrain from saying anything more about that here!
Your writing has always been mutually beneficial. Not only is it your main “outlet” which reflects those things that are most significant and meaningful in your life (and therefore does you such a world of good to get it down in words), your sharing it with others provides them with more (much more) than the usual “good read” that any excellent writing does.
Having said all that, though, the greatest loss of all (as Lenny said) was that of your very presence here.
Again, welcome back! May “smith”’s most mellifluous “chirp” never be silenced again (and may those who would seek to silence that “chirp” be silenced themselves)!

I was so happy to see the message in my e-mail that you were back. Not just your stories, but you my friend.
It's obvious that you put so much of yourself into JHS that we feel that we know you personally. I have emailed you a few times to tell you how much I admire your words but under my real name "Frank".
No need to appologize, it's great having you back.
To many of us you are what the Nahuatl "Aztecs" call TLACAELEL, one who lifts the spirit.

... actually, a smiley face with happy tears would be more appropriate to reflect how my heart feels now...
Thanks for coming back to us all. You have touched so many of us in so many wonderful ways, that when someone hurts you I want to grab all of your friends here and surround you with love and safety... and protect you from the bad so you can openly live so good.
I love the way you write, as does most everyone here. Forever shame on those who would hurt you or even want to.
Stay close to us, G. We will do whatever we can to help, protect, and love you through your life.

Celebrate your life... embrace your love... Become intimate with your place in forever !!!
