I can't remember her bloody name! LOL, Laura Bush, is that it? Well anyway, she visited the Tonight Show about a week ago (we get all the shows late so they can be subtitled I guess - the translator is pretty good, I have to give him credit. He - or she! - correctly translates Jay's pauses and such in his monologue), and she wore a cream-white dress or something, and she looked prim and neat, and she was SO BORING. Very Happy

I just know there were some jokes Jay told she did not like at all, and she was very coy when Jay tried to pump her on stuff she and Dubya disagrees on. HOWEVER, she was a good submissive Christian wife-to-a-powerful-man, and kept her mouth shut.

In stark contrast, Hillary's been on the show, and she was very lively and funny, and so was the wife of Bob Dole whatshername, she was a real hoot! Tipper Gore seemed kinda bland to me though, but then I never liked the woman. She wanted warning labels on rap music and such because I think she believes it corrupts the youth or something like that.

Bob Dole's wife also came accompanied by Secret Service guys, and Jay tried to make them smile. The camera zoomed in on one guy's face and he kept trying to make the guy crack up and he DIDN'T! I almost laughed my butt off!

Anyway, what I was going to say is, after the wife had left the building, a stand-up guy came on. Young, tall, handsome, VERY funny! Very VERY, he had a great routine in my opinion. Then he and Jay discussed gay marriage, and he was so cool. "I'd love to have a man around the house", he joked with a pretty much straight face, "get some things done!"

What a great guy, hehe. I'd kiss him and take him home if I could. ;-D

Ok, that's the end of my rant. Time to go to bed. G'night everybody n hugs for you!

I saw the same show when it aired here in the US, and I agree Laura Bush was a little bland, but I think she held her own against Jay. Hillary Clinton, though...well, let's not go there. Don't even get me started. Sad)

And I saw the comedian, too, and I think he's hilarious. I saw him on a cable show a few months back (on Comedy Central, for the Americans Razz), and he was just as hysterical. Forget his name, though...

But ya gotta admit, she's friskier than Mrs. Bush, isn't she? Very Happy If she hadn't been on national TV, some of Jay's questions would have made her frown disapprovingly! Smile

Anyway, nuff bout that! How're YOU, handsome? Very Happy Been missin' ya something awful! I never see you online these days, is summer vacation such busy times for you you have no time for your internet buddies? *giggles*

Take care, hope to talk to you soon. Smile

She's SO funny, and open and HONEST! She doesn't pull any punches on the subject she talks about; when Mrs. Bush refuses to talk about what she disagrees with, Maria openly speaks of how she hated the idea of Arnold running for office.

I haven't the faintest idea why a guy like Arnold would want to mess around with other women when he has such an amazing wife, hehe, and I would actually WORRY for Arnold if he does mess around, because she really seems to be the type of woman who perfectly fits the old saying, "hell hath no fury...", hehe! She's intense! Very Happy I can picture her coming towards Arnold with a steak knife yelling, "You did WHAT?!" Very Happy

Grrgh by the way, they moved the Tonight Show off its usual late-night timeslot and put it smack dab across the main evening news program which I *always* try to watch, so of course I missed the monologue and the final round of "Battle of the Jaywalk Allstars". Sad

Oh well, maybe I'll remember to watch the rerun early monday afternoon... (I never do btw.)

If someone calls you "tosk", it means you're slightly loopy, not unusually in a friendly fashion, sort of telling a friend "you're nuts!" along with a smile.

However, that is not all! Google tells me:

This is weird. One little word having so many different meanings? Incredible! Very Happy I love google, it's an amazing resource, especially when it comes to fulfilling spurious thoughts and wants, such as seeing what comes out when it is fed an odd, random word.

In other news, it seems I will never get to meet Asian Boi again, as he is moving back to his home town 100km north of Stockholm today. Sad He suggests keeping contact electronically in hopes of seeing each other again, but I have small hopes of that ever happening. Sad
