I have been hearing tha guys in North America, Europe, Australia, etc. have begun eith er trimming their pubes or shaving them completely...kind of similar to the female Brazialian waz (ouchies!)
So, is this true, do you think? Where isa it most common! Why is this a new fashion atatement? Is it in the High School and University crowds, too? One persaon told me it made the dick looker bigger...another said it was for comfort in the heat and to reduce the posibility of creepy crawlies. Some seem to prefer it trim...some a buzz cut, and some a complete shave off...wheich mut be awfully scratchy when growing back in, surely? And is there a shop offering service like a barber's...or does everybody do it themselves?
One young guy I asked replied, "are you kidding? I just grew my first bush this past year...no way I'm cutting ot off so soon. Damn!"
So...guys from all countries and continents...please enlighten us! What's new in the wonderful world of pubes fashion? Is it a particularly gay thing? or for everybody? No need to share your personal pubes habits unless ya want to of course...
By the way, Thai guys almost all trim or shave most of it off...saying its cleaner and cooler. So of course, Man and I are both partil trimmers to preserve domestic tranquility. Local customs are so interesting, don't you find it?

I see naked guys at my gym, and I have seen a few trim or shave themselves. Not that many, but still more than I expected! It's been guys who are otherwise fairly smooth (or shaving the rest of their bodies hehe). I've either seen total removal or near-skin buzz cut (though that seems uncomfortable to me due to the thickness of the hairs).
Gay thing? No, I think not. The gym I frequent is populated by the abominally straight.  Most guys there are in their 20s and up as well, so I don't know what's fashionable in our schools.

I admit that i do trim my pubic hair from time to time. I don't know if a lot of people do it. I do it because i just don't like to have a lot of hair down there, maybe is just me.
I was actually surprise to see that several of my friends actually shave it... they shave all of thier pubic hair.. Maybe guys do it more than i though.
Is it a gay thing? I don't think so, is just preference.

Man and I both trim down about 50%. About half of the Thai guys I know do the same or more, probably going along with about 75% of them shaving or plucking their underarms as well. The word here is that it's cooler (we do live in the tropics after all) as well as cleaner looking, if not in fact.
I just remembered that 2 of the boyfriends in Eggman's "A New Life" over on the Glass Onion site had a shaving scene. It was pretty sexy... ::-)

interesting that you should ask about this in conjunction with Timmy's quest for the list of kink: shaving is very hot, kinky action for some people.
I prefer to trim when it's unruly. I have observed that most of the guys i notice shaving completely are bottoms, but that may because at this stage in my life, the only guys i see naked much are bottoms; not being a gymn rat, i don't see much of naked men one way or the other, except those who come over for massage. of these, i have noticed a definite lean toward asian men being more prone to shave than other racial types.
