The next phase is to place a vaccuum bottle filling station into a sustained orbit.
I don't really think all this means alot other than the fact that the old saying about boys and their toys is relative to the sizr of the boys wallet. Once they achieve a sustained orbit they will have done something useful.
I just don't see a rip up and then a plummet down all for a cost of some 25 million dollard (and prolly alot more).
But then I don't like riding on roller coasters either....
Oh well...
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

Of course we have to try to crawl first before we learn to walk... Low earth orbit isn't particulary useful, but we can't very well shoot for the moon on the first attempt. Gotta start somewhere.
At least with private money nobody can complain "it would be better spent here on Earth" or some such nonsense.
If this species is to have a chance of surviving in the long run, we have to spread out and colonize other worlds. The ones in our own solar system would seem a logical first step, and this is undoubtedly the goal for these people. Cool moon colonies and such.

Cynic, yes. It's one of Marc's characteristic traits.
Silly, no! He is a very knowledgeable person.
