I promised I would start a segment on the site for transgender. So I have. It isn't big yet, and it isn't yet very useful. But, with help, it will become useful. http://iomfats.org/oddsandends/transgender/ is the start point.

what other information would you like to have? things on surgeries? on items to use/get to pass if you haven't had a surgery/don't want one? ways to cope if you do not want hormones or TOP/BOTTOM surgery, or items to use to try and pass?

i have various links saved in a folder in my fav. places.. the main folder is 'over the rainbow' that holds all my gay items Wink and then the folder for my trans things is 'trapped in a rainbow.'

i am not sure if it'd be appropriate or even needed for what you're aiming for, however. i'd recommend mailing lists that i joined but they were very locale exclusive. like, if you too did not live in san francisco, then no one on the list would communicate with you, etc.

Links are so very transient, but the best of them, yes. Those with their own domain names, certainly, but only if they are good.

Personal thoughts are useful.

Articles I can reproduce.

since i'm so so happy/excited you're doing this, i am going to go article hunting this weekend while i'm off work, that way it's things you can reproduce on your own site.

the only main link i have is transster.com (or maybe just one 's') which is about the surgeries, and shows pictures, and actually might be too graphic (or gross to those who are the sort to suck in quick-breaths at the thought of trans things Wink ) for what you're going for. same with the links about like, "packing" and "binding" (for FTM's) and the like.

but i have old links in mailing list posts i'd saved (the ones that weren't all cliquey and 'hey we're all gonna be at *insert locale here* in san fran, come join us!' and the like), that had several helpful and informative articles.

unless you find some things by then (i know i am not the only one into this, is this, is contributing to this, of course!!), i will have a packed email for you.

is email better for this, by the way?

Timmy, Have you had a chance to check out http://www.planetout.com/pno/people/trans/splash.html
Interesting if not definitive site.

I find planetout so hard to navigate. Maybe that's me! A lot of good is hidden there amidst reams of trash
