Today Kevy got it in his head that we needed to do some work on the van.

Wonderful.........

So off he goes to the auto part store and comes home with a list of things we need.

The man at the store said that our most immediate concern was that we needed to replace some thick wires that go to a round thing and from there to the tips of the spark plugs at various places in the engine.

The man said it was most important to replace the wires in the same order and configuration as we found them..... Freaking wonderful..........Confused??

To make matters worse he said we had to remove a gaggle of things in order to be able to access the back side of the engine, which in reality is the left side of the engine.... MY GOD THE FREAKING THING IS IN THERE SIDEWAYS!!!!!!! We are doomed......!!!!!

I said to kevy that we would need a bevy of leisbans to make sure we did it correctly but alas.... try as i might i could not find a single stray lesbian anywhere.....

Well there we were.... alone with a wrench and screwdriver and a tangle of wires.... I removed all the things that needed removing and then sat down and thought out a plan of attack.... I decided the logical method was to do one wire at a time thus making sure the configuration was maintained.

After an hour of scorched hands, banged knuckles and gawd awful strings of cuss words i managed to replace all the wires.... Kevy made sure we used the right ones.... oh did i mention they were all different each and every one was a different length and of course the replacement kit was all a tiny bit off.... so it was a best guess scenierio.....

But we did it!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it when kevy got i behind the wheel and it started right up and smooth as silk to boot.....

I was covered with grease and grime to my elbows and it felt so good to have it all come out right. Smile

I wonder what it will be next time..... LOL

Very Happy Very Happy Smile

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...
