Love means: respect, honor, joy, sorrow, commitment, truth, passion, compassion, fealty, loyalty, humor, sadness, perseverance, strength, weakness, forgiveness, generosity, hope, duty, inspiration, devotion, tenderness, understanding, acceptance, compromise and promise.
Might be over thirty words and read like a thesaurus, but to me, that's what love is. The essence of all that's best and most intimate between people. More than just an emotion, but a way of dealing with reality and those that you meet within reality. That is the basis of love, in every conceivable form.
It's not the wolf you see you should fear, but all the ones he howls with. Don't be afraid of the song, but don't piss off the choir.
