Anybody else here ever worn a kilt? There's a place here in seattle called "Utilikilts" that makes 'em in heavy cotton duck, with hammer loops and all kinds of masculine accoutrements...i'm thinking seriously about buying one. I think either black or the kind of brown they use for Carhart pants would be cool...they have a website if you wanna look at 'em...utilikilts.com, i think.

No offense to the Scottish part of my ancestry, but I'd rather wear pants. (Oh, trousers, for you lot. I forget 'pants' are underwear to Brits.) I've never tried a kilt, I'm sure I'd be fine with one (except maybe in winter) when it'd be drafty (draughty, lol). Tartan plaids, no problem.

A few posts back, someone said he'd never heard bagpipes. They sound kind of odd, but I actually kind of like bagpipes. Maybe I have more Scottish blood than I know of, back in the family tree.

I was looking at a pair of fishnets just the other day...violent pink, they were...just the think for wearing with a utilikilt, i must say. Unfortunately, they didn't come in my size (queen, of course) so i was unable to buy. Your legs are a little smaller, aren't they? Perhaps a nice pair would make a great gift for you....

:hugs: Hey, it's OK. (And I know the feeling.)

Maybe we're all related? I'm gonna feel really funny (and probably relieved) if it turns out any of my relatives are gay/lesbian, when I eventually come out. I ~think~ I'm the only one. But two of my cousins are still single. I think they're both straight, though, but I've wondered. Strange, isn't it?
