I have been asked why I post the venom this person spews. the answer is that post it to expose it for what it is. Venom.
Poison pen letters are to be exposed. And, of course, to be reported. As I have done and will continue to do. He is welcome to search on me. It is the old "I know where you live" threat. And I don't care if he does. I do care about his libels, however, and his continual harrassment, stalking and other threatening behaviours. But my caring is limited to reporting him and adding to my dossier of his threats.
Others who are being harrassed by this venemous person can see that he is not to be feared.
This justifies my decison never to allow him to return. Ever. I also rescind my acceptance of his apology.

This has been reported to Bryce's web host. Since he is insisting on knowing the answer to something very simple I will answer his question. However I do not expect this answer to penetrate his brain, since he has been told many times. So, to be clear, he knows the answer. He just either refuses to understand it or is incapable of understanding it.
There is an author, Driver9, who writes enlightening and pleasing stories. There was an unpleasant incident and he removed his stories from the internet. I have no idea what that incident was and no interest in knowing.
A while ago, perhaps 18 months ago, perhaps more, the stories reappeared on a random website. There was at the time no comment that these were with permisison of the author, and thus it seemed that the web site had stolen Driver's copyright.
At least two of us, Marc and I, each care passionately about copyright. Indenepdently we asked the webmaster to state the popsition on copyright. I certainly received an equivocal answer.
Because the answer was equivocal I asked the web host to discuss copyright matters with the webmaster. Web hosts do not like breaches of copyright any more than fellow authors do.
I think, during the discussions with the webmaster the web host suspended the site. It was right that they did and reasonable of them to do so, since such actyion is the only action that persuades a reluctant webmaster to answer questions.
At or around this point Bryce became abusive. He was probabaly abusive anyway and we just never noticed. Duringt his period he issued the threat or wish "get AIDS and DIE" to a poster on another messageboard. At this point his fusilade of abusive emails and other messages started, because he quite simply fails to understand the laws regarding copyright.
The webmaster resolved the copyright matters with the web host and everything was regualrised. And that is right and proper.
The issue was simple. If the stories were there with the author's permission then the site was fine. If without the author's permission they had to be removed.
What I get now is this abusive and intolerable, harassing and plain scary behaviour from Bryce. The last message he left me was tantamount to "We know where you live and we're comng to get you". I make a point if reporting every communication from him of every description to the authorities who are building up a dossier on his harassing and abuse and threats.
He is to be found via RBryce@tbi.net and starquest4@earthlink.net. He dials in through Level3 in Tampa on a varying IP address. He is no threat to anyone, but he appears to be a threat.
I am going to unlock this thread in case any of you, particularly Marc, have comments you wish to add regarding copyright and Driver's (or anyone's) stories, but I will not accept any postings from Bryce of any description here. He is banned.

Essentially this is correct.
At the time of D9's apparent unpleasentness (this has never been verified) his stories were hosted at a writers website myself and several friends were jointly hosting with full permission.
At the time of the (so called) unpleasantness, we were requested to remove his work as (paraphrased) "they would be a danger to him and his therefore would never post them again".
This being the case, coupled with the webmasters refusal to provide proper proof of copyright permissions (as required by law) we rightly persued the matter as a rogue site with issues of infringment.
As this website owner stated, this was an incident of some 18 months past and has been resolved for some time to an amicable satisfaction.
Bryce neither possesses the faculties nor the will to entreat the concept that we were intrinsically right in our persuit of the issue.
Nor does he have the capability to understand (even if I type real slowly so he can read every word one at a time) that it was none of his business.
Tha man is a real danger to all that cross his path be that online or in real life.
Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...
