Two items of today's news found at random:

http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-13280377,00.html

http://www.haaretzdaily.com/hasen/spages/525296.html

I am sure that I could find more if I tried...

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

i know my workplace was gay friendly... the manager was gay, the assistant manager was a lesbian, and her girlfriend was a staff member... great place to work, even though i was still in the closet back then... ahh well..

it always intrigues me how people can say that gay people adopting or hhaving children within a same sex relationship destroys the family unit... i mean, its got to be better than single parenthood and its promoting raising children within a standard (i.e.) 2 adult 2 children family... i don't see why people think its a bad idea.
