I got this Josh Groban CD for Valentines. There is a song on it that is so perfect for how I'm feeling. It's called "To Where You Are".

Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
Your memory's so clear

Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be (?)
That you are my
Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above

doesn't it have the most beautiful words....

Josh Groban is iced and these words are beautiful. No one really leaves when their memory stays in our hearts. I truly believe that someone you love becomes a guardian angel. You just have to believe.

hey, shawn.

i absolutely love josh groban, particularly the 'closer' CD. i spent the better part of my downtime this past month choreographing skating routines to "si volvieras a mi" and "mi mancherai (il postino)" that i can't wait to put into motion.

it was the song you've posted that first got me into him.. and although i've since memorised all the translations to his songs in italian? before i had, it didn't matter that i didn't know what he was saying -- no one's got a voice like he does, and you can feel the emotion of each song to the point that, when you DO read the translations, it's almost like you already knew what the song was about.

my second most favorite song of his is "my december." it should be my theme.

I never thought I would like this type of music, but I totally love it, go figure. I will be more open-minded in the future. I got them all translated too.

I love that you choreographed your skating routines. Very creative. Smile

thanks. Smile
they'd look, i fully admit, absolutely WONDERFUL on ice, but i don't skate on ice right now.

i aggressive skate but i also have what is called 'artistic inlines' (if you do a google on PIC skates, you'll see what i mean -- it's like figure skating on concrete, they are made just like a figure skating boot/blade), and that's what i used to create these programs. i've spent a lot of time this past month drawing it up and writing it out -- about the only way you can communicate a program without demonstration, and i'm thinking of sending it to mister weir, just to get his input even if he would never skate it.

yeah, i'm usually pretty selective on my music too, but something about mister groban's voice really got to me.... before i'd gotten interpretations to those songs i mentioned there's certain words/vocals he'd carry out for a length of time, that would literally give me chills.

ok i hush now, hehehe! i'm such a music nerd.
