Ever been working on a story and as often happens the plot turns down a path that covers ground that in your real life for whatever reason had never had the chance to do?

What is it about writing these stories that wrench lost desires from well insulated memories?

What is it that we hope to gain by putting ourselves through all this heartache and anguish all over with no hope of consolement.

Ahh well....
Whatever....
I was just wondering...

Life is great for me... Most of the time... But then I meet people online... Very few are real friends... Many say they are but know nothing of what it means... Some say they are, but are so shallow...

To live is - to war with trolls
In the holds of the heart and mind;
To write is - to hold
Judgment Day over the self.

Writing for me is neither pain nor anguish. It is about belatedly living out that life I could have, should have, lived, but didn't. I gain positive enjoyment from within that secret world, and if I can give others pleasure or insights, it's doubly worth it.
