And I wish my favourite storyteller all the good things that life can bring. Bear hugs for Mr GH, who has reached a milestone. [Blows kisses across the oceans.]

The paradox has often been noted that the United States, founded in secularism, is now the most religiose country in Christendom, while England, with an established church headed by its constitutional monarch, is among the least. (Richard Dawkins, 2006)

Time and again, he has shown himself to be quite capable of facing any challenge (no matter how daunting) and end up coming through it with flying colors (and I'm sure this will be no exception). In spite of those challenges, may he still be able to enjoy this most special day in his life.

Happy Birthday, "smith"!
