It makes me see red. This is unforgiveable in my opinion:

This reminds me of when the British, in 19th century, abolished the death penalty for "impersonating a Chelsea pensioner" and "tampering with Westminster Bridge".

If this is an example of American justice - God help America!

The probelm with american justice is that it seemes then to have been meted out to suit the criminal, not the crime
