The couple of hours delay between my guessing 'Proust' and posting the next picture was caused by my absolute compulsive watching of the current (UK) "Big Brother" on C4.
This year I've felt that even a couple of the guys who started out 'gay but not terribly camp' have become much more camp as it has become clear that the straight guys (and some of the women) in the house feel less threatened by really camp gays than by 'normal people who happen to be gay'. This hothouse of social pressure to conform to stereotype has for me all the grisly fascination that some people find from watching TV programmes of road accidents.
Yes. I know. SAD.
But at least I didn't cut short my meal-out-with-a-friend in order to watch it: said friend goes to sleep about 9.30pm usually on weeknights, so we tend to eat early.
