It's been an interesting couple of days for bumping into self certified censors and arbiters of taste.
The last of such was "Rins Awards". Well, Rin never graced me with a reply. Her loss. But I have placed her "awards" amended with "Proud to be Rejected" on my site.
This message is a sad one. From the front page of my site you wil have seen thatI have for many momnths been proud to be a "Safe Zone", a place certified by the providers of the "SafeZone" accreditation for kids and others to come without fear to receive such help and advice as they choose. Yesterday I told Safezone of my new site address.
They asked me to remove their logo, because the site has exlicit erotic stories. These were present when they accepted the site, and were as obviously present as they are today.
I have left the link to their site because I approve of THEIR work whether they approve of mine or not, and I have bastardised their logo in order to show that I am, of course, no longer safe. (That was sarcasm). I shall now go out and buy a bag of boiled sweets and proposition a scout troop. (That was also sarcasm).
I do not like self appointed censors and arbiters of "taste", though in the case of SafeZone I respect their right to make the rules. But they should enforce them on acceptance, not some time later.
